Funding Proposal
Guidelines
The Chancellor's Advisory
Committee on HIV/AIDS supports initiatives that educate the UCR campus
community on HIV/AIDS issues. These initiatives are funded by the Charles
B. Weis Jr. Endowment Fund.
Who can
request funding?
Any University office or student organization may request funding support.
How much funding may be
requested?
Most requests are for $500 or less.
What is the funding request
process?
- Submit a written
proposal to the Chair at least one week in advance of the next scheduled
Committee meeting. The current Chair is Albert Haas, albert.haas@ucr.edu,
827-4187.
- You may visit a Committee
meeting to present on the proposal.
- The written proposal should
include the following information:
- Description of the
event, workshop, project, or resource
- How the project will
increase understanding of HIV/AIDS on the UCR campus
- The intended audience
of the event or resource
- Who will organize the
project and oversee use of funds
- Co-sponsors and additional
sources of funding for the project
- The date requested
for receiving the Committee's funding decision
