Sexual Responsibility Week 2004

February 9-13, 2004

The "Golden ARCHES" Peer Health Education Program brings you "Sexual Responsibility Week" as we lead up to Valentine's Day.  We want to raise awareness about sexual responsibility in three categories: sexual health, sexual assault/harassment/violence, and sexual identity.  Stop by our information tables by the belltower each day from 11AM-1PM, where we will have literature, promotional items, and much more.  We will also be supporting UCR's V-Day campaign in conjunction with this effort.

Thursday Feb.12, from 12 noon to 1pm, in Terrace Room C

"AIDS in the 21st Century" is a half-hour television documentary funded by Cable Positive, that explores where we've been and where we're heading with this epidemic.  AIDS has not gone away just because we don't hear about it in the news everyday, AIDS is as much a reality today as it was 20 years ago.  Hope for the future is in talking about AIDS and educating people about the facts.  No one wants to get AIDS today.  No one has to."
