HIV/AIDS Discussion Group
The HIV/AIDS Committee in partnership with the Counseling Center is organizing an informal discussion group about HIV/AIDS and its impact on our campus community. This idea is inspired by multiple student discussions regarding the campus response to HIV/AIDS education and awareness. Students shared it would be helpful to have a place to talk about their personal experiences with friends and family who have been affected by this disease.
The discussion group will be open to students, staff, and faculty to share their stories about the uniqueness and diversity of this disease and how it has impacted their lives. This is not a therapy group, but rather an informal discussion group in partnership with the Counseling Center. If you are interested in this discussion group, please contact the coordinating counselor Lee Stillerman, firstname.lastname@example.org or (951) 827-5531.
